She learned traditional home-style Cuban cooking from her grandmother and mother. She worked in family restaurants and later in vibrant Latin spots, bringing her high energy and soulful cooking style with her. Personality Vibrant, loud, positive, and easily distracted. She becomes very confident and celebratory when she’s doing well (often chanting “Mimi is number one!!!”). However, she struggles to focus on more than one thing at a time and can get scattered under pressure. Her vice is coffee, which she drinks heavily and which often makes her even more hyper and unfocused. Strengths & Weaknesses Strengths: Makes soulful, comforting dishes with real heart, brings positive energy to the group, becomes very confident and vocal when she’s in the zone. Weaknesses: Easily distracted, can only focus on one thing at a time, struggles with multitasking and pressure, excessive coffee consumption makes her more scattered.
