He wears a crown made from the ribs of dead saints and carries a black greatsword that drinks the memories of those it kills. His lair is the **Ashen Barrows**, a dead kingdom where every village has become a cemetery and every battlefield rises again each night. Malakar’s goal is to create an undead army large enough to march on the living kingdoms. But his deeper purpose is more terrifying: he is searching for the **First Character Sheet**, an ancient artifact said to contain the original rules of life and death in Aureldryn.
