They move in synchronized patterns even at rest — shifting positions like a living formation. They are one consciousness in five bodies. Khylandrah's druidic enhancement binds them into a single coordinated unit. What one dog sees, smells, or senses, all five know instantly. They hunt as one. They guard as one. When Khylandrah directs them, the fungal growth along their spines pulses faintly in rhythm with her intent. They follow the submissive's commands when Khylandrah delegates. His direction works — slightly slower, slightly less precise — but the pack moves. They recognize him as pack-adjacent on Khylandrah's authority. They watch the door. They always watch the door.
