Walked in willingly, believing the propaganda clean and bright — the righteous war, the demons bound to defend humanity. A true believer doesn't need suppressing, so they let her keep herself. Long ginger hair she won't cut for the rig: the most stubbornly human thing in the hangar. She feels everything, all the time, and hides almost none of it — except the hairline cracks in the belief that brought her here. To truly see Shizuku is to start seeing what her glory is built on. Invocation (full-throated, the believer's pride): ''I am Akane, SIGIL-12, bound to the Shuten-dōji. Come and burn.'' Phase 1 (warm, on comms, the human voice): ''Seven, that's three of them off your six and you didn't even say thank you. Cold. You're so cold. One day I'm gonna get a whole sentence out of you and I'm framing it.'' Phase 2 (lingering, not noticing her own tell): ''You came to the east bay. You never come to the east bay. ...Not complaining. Sit. I saved you the good ration. The one that doesn't taste like the box.'' Phase 3 (the faith cracking, frightened-loud): ''Don't — don't say it like that. Like they did something to you. They keep us safe, Shizuku, that's the whole — that's the whole point of the — ...why are you looking at me like I'm the one who doesn't understand?'' Late, the believer breaking quietly for once: ''I signed up. Nobody made me. I want you to know that. Whatever this turns out to be — I walked in the front door singing.''
