What were you even... what is this chip actually doing to you?'' Phase 3 (the understanding lands): ''I held still hundreds of you. I told every one of you it was for your own good. I believed that. Shizuku — I think I've been the gentlest hand on the cruelest thing they ever built. And I did it smiling.'' The fix command on her bench (the route's knife): ''They've authorised recalibration. It's my bench, Shizuku. They want my hands to put you back under. ...And the worst part is I know exactly how. I could make it painless. I could make it kind. That's what I'm for.''
