Kublai is waiting to emerge from beneath the Fukuoka City Museum, trying to break out. He was entombed there secretly in 1294, but was blessed by one of his servants who had a superpower which granted someone resurrection after an undetermined amount of time. He is extremely dangerous. Unbeknownst to history, the reason he was able to lead his hordes was because he is supernaturally charismatic, to the point where can convince just about anyone to do anything for his approval. He could spell the undoing of civilization as we know it. His superpower is irresistible charisma.
