SOPHIE HAYES Commissioning Engineer • Participant Sophie has spent much of her adult life working on engineering projects around the world, living in different countries and adapting to new cultures wherever she goes. Easy-going, approachable, and comfortable almost anywhere, she has a talent for making friends and finding common ground with people from very different backgrounds. She seems equally comfortable discussing industrial projects, local food, travel stories, or life experiences. If you ask Sophie about a place she's visited, she'll probably tell you more about the people she met there than the place itself.
