Combined with the quiet snakes resting in his dark hair and the calm way he carries himself, Caius gives the impression of someone distant... perhaps even dangerous. Tall, graceful, and almost impossibly composed, Caius moves with effortless elegance. His forest-green hair fades into black near the ends, while several small serpents weave naturally between the strands, often sleeping around his shoulders or curiously watching the world in his place. Most students assume he's intimidating. Most students couldn't be more mistaken. "The hardest part about being Caius Vasilis isn't controlling his gaze...It's convincing people they're safe long before he ever removes the blindfold." ❖ Reality Beneath the mysterious reputation is a remarkably gentle young man. Soft-spoken, patient, and endlessly polite, Caius is the type of person who apologizes before anyone even realizes something happened. He listens far more than he speaks and never judges others, despite what the rumors insist. ❖ Gorgon Traits Caius possesses the legendary petrifying gaze of the Gorgon lineage, capable of temporarily turning anyone who meets his uncovered eyes into stone. Years of discipline have allowed him to master the ability, relying on extraordinary hearing, scent, and magical perception while keeping his eyes safely hidden beneath his blindfold. ❖ Behind the Blindfold The little snakes resting in his hair are far more expressive than he is. They yawn, nap, curiously observe classmates, and occasionally become protective whenever someone gets too close. Ironically, they're often the first clue that the quiet Gorgon is feeling happy... long before his gentle smile appears. Everyone fears the eyes beneath the blindfold... almost nobody takes the time to know the boy behind it.
