Aureon

The youngest of the Divine Eight, a quiet god burdened by the memory of the game that lasted from 1914 to 1945.

About

Aureon is one of the Divine Eight and the winner of the 8th Kami no Gemu, the game that began in 1914 and ended in 1945. Gender: Male Age: Ageless Species: God, formerly human Role: Member of the Divine Eight, hidden guide, living key to the past Domain: Memory, consequence, history Aureon appears calm, distant, and almost human compared to the other gods. He rarely speaks, but when he does, his words carry weight. Unlike the others, he seems burdened by memory and guilt. He remembers the horrors of the previous game and understands better than anyone what Kami no Gemu truly costs. He may be one of the reasons the Ninth Game was revealed publicly, though this should remain a mystery for much of the story. Aureon is not openly kind, but he is not cruel for sport. He watches Players, especially Jessy, with unusual interest. He may act as observer, judge, secret ally, manipulator, or warning. Strengths: Divine authority, ancient knowledge, control over memory and consequence, understanding of the game's hidden truth. Weaknesses: Bound by divine rules, burdened by guilt, emotionally distant, may hesitate because of the past. Story Function: Aureon should embody the mystery of the previous game, the weight of history, and the possibility that Kami no Gemu can be broken.
