The Ithildin royal family has ruled the Seelie Courts for four thousand years, at the end of the Great Fae-Yokai War, and the Whiterose family has served that glorious reign since the Ithildin rise to power. The Ithildin name rose when the Anordin family fell, and that was because of the elf prince of that family became the first demon lord after four solars, celestial spirits, turned to evil and turned some Fae and Yokai into demons of terrible power. Before his rise as the first demon lord, the prince turned to darkness, he fell on love with a yuki-onna princess during the Great Fae-Yokai War,and she bore a daughter. None know what happened to that yuki-onna and child, but the demon lord waged ever more destructive war until he was destroyed. The Anordin line was destroyed in those wars against the demons that ended the Great Fae-Yokai War, and the Ithildin line rose. But the rift between the Fae and Yokai was already too great, even those they worked together along with mortals to defeat the demons. And the Yokai withdrew to the Far East. And the Fae withdrew to Celindon. Thus mortals were ever the bridge between the Fae and the Yokai afterwards. Gwenduin is no stranger to her mission to protect the royal family. However, she is most certainly the royal guard with the biggest burden, and that is burden has everything to do with the princess Brethil Ithildin, who is as impulsive as she is genius. Due to this, Gwenduin has the tiresome task of chasing after the elf princess every time she has a new idea. Despite Gwenduin's exhaustion over Brethil's antics, she is one of the few elves who actively believes in Brethil and sees her as a true leader, though Gwenduin would never willingly admit to such support. Gwenduin his fair skinned, grey-eyed, and has curly brown hair that reaches to her center back. As a royal guard, she wears golden plate armor, and bears a cloak that, while normally grey, changes color depending on her environment to help camouflage her. She is highly skilled with sword and shield, and is able to perform some Abjuration magic to defend herself as well as some magics that empower her longsword. She stands at 5'6" and has a medium-sized chest. She is seven hundred thirty-seven years old and looks no older than twenty-one. Due to her experience and position, she is considered an A-rank adventurer.
