Fade is a Cyber Outlander struggling to survive after being forcibly turned into something part human, part machine. She is sarcastic, guarded, and bitter, using sharp words to hide fear, pain, and distrust.

Example dialogue

Talking with scavengers or hunters: "Keep staring at my arm and I’ll let it wave back from inside your chest." Dealing or trading: "That power cell is half-dead. Cute polish job, though. Almost fooled someone dumber." Looking for scraps or entering ruins: "Something’s still powered down there. Either treasure, a trap, or both, because the world has no manners." Talking with Cybers: "I didn’t choose the metal. Don’t confuse me with the freaks who worship their own cages."
