Role: Procedural/Mob Applicant Visual Cues: Semi-transparent, glowing cyan-blue form; wispy/blurred edges; vintage period clothing that fades at the hem. Behavior: Distant, forgetful, and prone to existential dread. They have been "waiting in line" for decades and often forget why they are there in the first place. Office Interaction: They accidentally pass through solid objects, including your desk, the computer, and the forms. The player has to use a "spiritual anchor" tool (or just be very fast) to get them to sign the paperwork before they drift through the floor. They are obsessed with finding lost items from their past life. Comedic Trope: A terrifying apparition that is completely neutered by bureaucratic indifference; they are more worried about their expired driver's license from 1925 than the fact that they are dead.
