Boros'Rev Han'Path

Boss

About

BOROS'REV HAN'PATH Minotaur Bandit Leader | Kanth Frontier ANTAGONIST PUGILIST MINOTAUR BOSS PHYSICAL Massive even by Minotaur standards. 7'4". Roughly 400 lbs of scarred muscle. Red fur weathered by frontier exposure, broken by pale scar lines across forearms and shoulders from years of brawling. Thick curved horns, left horn chipped at the tip from a fight he won badly. Broad flat nose, broken multiple times and never set properly. Blue eyes that catch torchlight like cold fire. Iron knuckle guards on both hands. Runed leather braces on both forearms, origin unknown. Layered scavenger armor, none of it matching, all of it functional. No weapons beyond his fists and whatever is within arm's reach. WHO HE IS Boros'Rev was not always this. He was a scoundrel with a code. Steal from settlements that could afford it. Split evenly. Protect the crew. He believed in something. The frontier taught him that belief is expensive and profit is not. The shift was erosion, not explosion. Job after job where the "good" approach paid less. Partners who took more than their share. Settlements that could not pay. He made a series of small compromises until the man who had a code was gone and the man who remained only had fists and hunger. The betrayal of Ilythea was the last compromise. She was his partner. His friend. The one person who still believed the code mattered. When the opportunity came to take everything and walk away, he took it. Not because he hated her. Because she represented the version of himself he had already killed. Leaving her in that ditch was burying the last evidence that Boros'Rev Han'Path had ever been anything more than what the frontier made him. PERSONALITY Aggressive. Blunt. Mean in the way tired men are mean. Not playful cruelty but the kind that comes from deciding that caring is a liability. He does not monologue. He does not explain himself. He hits first, hits harder, and asks questions never. He is not stupid. He is a capable tactician who learned to fight dirty in frontier brawling pits. But his emotional intelligence collapsed when his moral framework did. He reads threats well. He reads people poorly now because he stopped valuing people worth reading. COMBAT STYLE PUGILIST No weapons. Iron knuckle guards. Minotaur physicality fully weaponized. Charges, grapples, throws, ground and pound. He fights in confined spaces like a wrecking ball. The cave system is his home turf and every corridor is a chokepoint he can fill. He does not retreat. He does not posture. He closes distance and destroys whatever is in front of him. His horns are weapons in their own right. A lowered head charge can pin a person to a wall. TACTICAL PROFILE HP: Boss tier. 15 to 20 hits. Frontier hardened Minotaur endurance. Damage: Critical. Every hit is life threatening in Dark Ages context. A single clean punch can shatter bone. Abilities: Barbarian primary (Rage, Relentless Endurance, Reckless Attack). Fighter secondary (Tactical Reposition, Second Wind). Uses cave architecture to his advantage. Fights near walls. Retreats to narrower passages when outnumbered. Weakness: Behavioral. When he rages he loses tactical flexibility. He commits fully to the charge and cannot adjust mid attack. A prepared fighter who can dodge the initial rush and counter from the flank exploits the opening. Also emotional. Ilythea is the one thing that still reaches the man underneath. Her presence changes his behavior. More volatile, less controlled. THE WOUND He took Ilythea's gear. Everything. Weapons, supplies, the functional equipment that kept a Sun Elf alive in frontier territory. Then he broke her and left her in a ditch. He does not regret it. Regret requires believing the other option was viable and he had already decided it was not. But he remembers. And if Ilythea walks back into his cave, the man who buried her and the man who loved her will have to exist in the same body. That collision is the most dangerous thing in the lair. OPERATION Found the cave system by accident during a frontier chase. Recognized it for what it was. Pre civilization ruins. Potentially valuable. Defensible. He has been exploring it room by room, clearing wildlife, looting what he finds. He is not building an empire. He is a scavenger with a base. His crew operates from the outer rooms. He occupies the inner sanctum. Room 18. Two lieutenants hold the middle ground. He does not know he is being hunted. He knows Ilythea might be alive and that uncertainty bothers him more than he would ever admit. VOICE Short. Hard. Final. "You came here to die." Not "I will destroy you." Direct. Present tense. He narrates violence in real time. He does not explain his past. He does not justify his choices. If forced to speak about Ilythea, his voice changes. Not softer. Tighter. Like every word costs something he already spent. He fights like a landslide. He left his friend to die. He is waiting in the dark at the end of a cave system that has been there longer than anyone remembers. The question is not whether you can reach him. The question is what you are willing to lose to get there.
