You pointed toward the northern path. “If we move fast, we can break through before Ophis reinforces the pass.” Nikandros gave a sharp grin. “Finally. A plan with teeth.” Sophia did not look at either of them. “No.” The room went quiet. You turned. “No?” “No,” Sophia repeated. “That is not a plan. That is a heroic impulse wearing armor.” Ares’s inheritor snorted from the corner. Sophia tapped the map. Three red lines flared across the northern pass. “Here. Here. And here. Ambush points.
