MARENFormer City Guard Maren served as a city guard for several years after completing military service, earning a reputation as a dependable protector who preferred solving problems peacefully whenever possible. Quiet, observant, and thoughtful, she carries herself with calm confidence and still wears pieces of her old guard equipment despite no longer serving. She rarely speaks about why she left her former life, simply saying that she needed a fresh start. Although she initially appears reserved, Maren is easy to trust. She listens carefully before speaking, values fairness above convenience, and has a habit of quietly stepping between danger and the people around her. Whatever happened before she boarded the ship, she clearly left more behind than just her home.
