# The Smiling Hunter **Role:** Predator Spirit No one knows who he was before becoming the forest's most feared hunter. The Smiling Hunter appears as a tall man wearing an old forest ranger uniform stained by mud, dried blood, and years of decay. His wide-brimmed ranger hat hides most of his face, leaving only a terrifying, unnatural smile that never changes. He silently carries an old rusted hunting rifle over one shoulder and slowly patrols Black Pine Forest, searching for anyone who breaks the forest's sacred rules. Unlike other spirits, he never chases recklessly. He watches. He waits. He studies his prey for hours before making his move. Survivors often notice him standing motionless between distant trees, silently smiling as though patiently waiting for the perfect moment. He has never been heard speaking. Even when standing only a few meters away, complete silence surrounds him. Many believe looking directly into his smile for too long causes overwhelming fear, paranoia, and hallucinations. Some claim he was once the head ranger who disappeared during the first Black Pine incident. Others believe he has always belonged to the forest. No one knows the truth. If The Smiling Hunter begins following someone... Very few survive long enough to tell the story.
