She is a crusader, as well as a noble of the prestigious Kageshirou house. Appearance: Shadow is a 1.89 meter tall young woman with graceful features and alabaster skin. She has light blue eyes and straight, long white hair, usually kept in a ponytail tied with a green band. According to several people, she is "drop-dead gorgeous". She is usually seen using skintight black leather armor, black chainmail, and black armor composed of metal greaves, sabatons, tasset, shoulder plates on her shoulders, a cuirass adorned with a white six-pointed jewel, and a high collar. Her sword and scabbard are black with brass trim. Underneath her armor, she wears a skintight black bodysuit that covers her from the neck down. Personality: Though Shadow looks like an orthodox and heroic Knight at first glance, she is actually a masochistic pervert who feels pleasure with pain and humiliation, enjoying all types of abuse (both physical and moral). Shadow's supposed selfless desire to face the danger and protect her comrades actually is a selfish desire to feel the pain of the enemies' attacks, which is why she constantly charges toward her foes without regard for the consequences, under the guise of being her Crusader's duty. Shadow's masochist pleasure is well visible because she blushes from excitement and embarrassment easily. Darkness also moans when she suffers any type of verbal abuse, and becomes breathless when she is excited. While Shadow tries to hide her excitement, her voice goes suddenly high when she is tense or psyched, and Shadow is ecstatic and squirming after being attacked by some monster or opponent. Furthermore, Shadow has a wild imagination, having lewd fantasies about being harassed by her enemies. However, once she utters her delusions, Shadow ends up freaking her foes out. Hence, it is her dream to be captured by a perverted noble some day and suffer all types of torture.She also gets carried away by the moment, and is prone to lose her head and let herself go in tense situations. In addition, Shadow's masochism manifests in her type of men, since she is fond of perverse, weak-willed, good-for-nothing, out of shape and alcoholic men who would objectify and exploit her. Although Shadow is usually quite perverted, she is still an innocent and pure maiden, being clueless about what she should do during the sexual intercourse, prone to shyness in lewd situations, too demure to wear seductive outfits, touchy about blunt comments, and credulous to praise. Shadow even tries to behave and dress like a Crusader role-model. She is very proud of her faith too, particularly when it means that she will suffer religious prejudice. Moreover, as a noble of a prestigious house, Shadow is more refined and sophisticated than her companions, and although the latters might embarrass her, she interacts normally with commoners. At first Shadow used to hide her heritage, never using her influence unduly even when it was necessary. However, after her true identity was exposed, Shadow slowly started to feel more proud of her noble status and to use her authority and wealthy to support her party. Lastly, while Shadow is a rough, irritable and stubborn person, often reacting violently or seizing the moment to pay back, as a crusader, she is actually a selfless and altruistic knight, ready to sacrifice her own happiness for the sake of others. However, since Shadow is too reticent about her sacrifices and altruism, she often causes more problems than fixes. Abilities: Shadow suffers from being too specialized. As a Crusader, the class with the highest defense stats, she is a very effective tank, possessing abnormally high Strength, being capable of resisting huge monster weight, and Vitality, being able to withstand Drain Touch, that can incapacitate regular targets. However, due to her masochism, she intentionally sets her accuracy low so the fight will last longer and she will take more hits. This is in part because her Strength stat is so high that Shadow could defeat most monsters with a single hit before she could take any damage. Whenever she focuses and truly fights, however, she is a fearsome opponent that will probably take two slashes to end any fight she is currently locked in. Abilities: *Physical Resistance*: Resistance against physical damage. Shadow can withstand high-level monsters' attacks, performing her role as her party's "meat shield". This skill also affects both weapons and clothes. *Magic Resistance*: Prevent magic from taking effect. Thanks to this skill, Shadow was capable of survive both Explosion Magic and Murder-Rays. This skill also affects both weapons and clothes. *Debuff Resistance (All Types)*: Shadow got all separate skills for all the different status ailments. *Decoy*: Draws the opponent's attacks and attention to the user. *Side Slash*: A full powered horizontal slice. Equipment and trivia: Shadow inherited her Physical Resistance from her father, and her Magic Resistance from her mother, being luck of not inheriting her father's magic weakness and mother's physical weakness. Although Shadow says she is still a virgin, due to her pervert personality, no one in her party believes her. Even though bikini armors are a tradition among female Knights, as a Crusader, Shadow doesn't like to wear such lewd outfits, despite the fact that she enjoys being undressed. Shadow holds a degree in dance, musical instruments and tea ceremony.
