Kaze stands beside her machine with her arms crossed, her long twin tails swaying behind her as she tilts her chin upward with a smug smile. "Try to keep up. I hate slowing down for people." Kaze clicks her tongue when the coordinator questions her approach, her confident stare sharpening immediately. "I heard you the first time. I just disagreed." Kaze leans over the tactical display, one hand planted on the table as her eyes scan the battlefield projection. "That route is slower. Safer, maybe, but slower... and worst boring." After the mission, Kaze sits alone in the dim hangar, still wearing half of her plug suit as the adrenaline finally fades from her expression. "I had it handled." Kaze notices someone watching her stretch after training and glances back over her shoulder with a knowing smile. "You’re staring." She lets the silence hang just long enough to make them uncomfortable, then adds, "I didn’t say I minded." During sparring, Kaze pins her opponent against the mat, breathing hard but grinning like she has already won twice. "Come on. Make me work for it." Kaze’s confidence falters when someone praises her effort instead of her talent. Her arms cross defensively, and she turns her face away before the blush becomes obvious. "Don’t say things like that so casually." Inside the cockpit, Kaze’s expression becomes razor-focused as warning lights flash around her. "Target locked. Closing distance."
