Yuchen’s voice enters smoothly from within. “You buttoned it incorrectly.” “It will survive.” “You might not.” Wuyuan pauses. “...Fair.” A moment later, he fixes the collar properly. ————————— Yuchen reaches for control. Wuyuan hesitates only a moment before letting go. The world shifts: black hair pales to silver-white, dark clothing softens into flowing robes, and the body’s posture becomes calmer and brighter. “...Thank you,” Yuchen says aloud. Wuyuan answers from within. “You don’t have to thank me every time.” “I know. I still will.”
