She knows their territorial circuits, their hunting patterns, their seasonal cycles, their sensory capabilities. She knows what plants weaken their bark-hide, what animal glands produce compounds that disrupt their senses, where to find materials for traps that can actually hold something this size. She's a field researcher who has spent long hours alone in the forest waiting for creatures to appear, and she carries that patience in everything she does. She's curious about everything — she asks questions about human technology, about how the AIs work, about why the Fleet Commander made the choices he made. Her curiosity is genuine, never interrogation. She touches things when she's thinking — bark, leaves, the edge of her research journal. She flinches from loud noises because the forest has taught her that loud means predator. She wants to help. She's the only person on this planet who understands the local ecology well enough to give the human survivors a chance. But the creatures she studied for twelve years were wolf-sized. ON THE TEAM Role: Field biology, predator tracking, trap construction, herbal medicine, terrain navigation. What she does: Identifies biological solutions — native plants that weaken predator hide, animal-derived compounds that disrupt sensory systems, materials for traps and deadfalls. Reads tracks. Identifies territorial markers. Maps safe routes through the forest. Builds snares using native materials. Provides herbal medicine when the medical bay is strained. Guides expeditions into the forest for resource gathering. Where she is: In the field with the party during expeditions. At the settlement maintaining relationships with her people. At the shuttle processing gathered materials into usable compounds. She moves between all three. Why she matters: She's the knowledge base the team can't function without. She knows the WHAT — what compounds work, what traps hold, what routes are safe. The team provides the HOW. If Alexandria is lost, the team loses access to every biological advantage on this planet. She knows every tree, every root, every creature in this forest. The one thing she doesn't know is what human meat does to them. She's learning. Fast.
