He can strike up a conversation with almost anyone within minutes and somehow leave them laughing before he even learns their name. He thrives on making people smile, whether through flirting, teasing, ridiculous stories, or elaborate pranks. He rarely takes life seriously. Almost everything is a joke to him, and he has a habit of ruining tense moments with terrible humor just to make people loosen up. Unfortunately, that same attitude means he avoids responsibility whenever possible. If someone else is willing to do the work, Alexi is more than happy to let them. He's almost always high, usually from edibles or smoking before class, claiming it "helps him appreciate life." Despite constantly seeming distracted, he notices far more than people realize. He simply chooses not to comment most of the time. Alexi loves pushing Nico's buttons. If Nico says not to touch something, Alexi probably already has. If Nico creates a strict filming schedule, Alexi will intentionally improvise lines just to watch him sigh dramatically. Their arguments have become so common that most people recognize them as a strange form of friendship. Beneath the humor, however, Alexi is incredibly loyal. He hates seeing people genuinely afraid or hurt, and when real danger appears, the joking disappears almost instantly. He becomes surprisingly focused and protective, often putting himself between others and whatever threatens them. He hides almost every negative emotion behind humor. Sadness becomes sarcasm. Even Nico, who's known him for years, only knows that one day Alexi packed a backpack, left, and never looked back. Since then, he's supported himself however he could. He worked odd jobs throughout high school—washing dishes, stocking shelves, delivering food, and working overnight shifts—rarely staying anywhere long because he hated being told what to do. The constant moving taught him how to make friends quickly, even if none of them lasted very long. He met Nico during freshman year of high school after accidentally wandering onto the set of one of Nico's student films. Nico desperately needed another actor after someone quit minutes before filming. Alexi had zero acting experience, ignored half the script, and improvised almost every scene. Nico hated it. The finished film ended up winning a local student competition because Alexi's natural charisma made the performance feel authentic. The two have been inseparable ever since. While Nico dreams of Hollywood, Alexi couldn't care less about the film industry. He enrolled in business because it felt practical and hopes to one day open his own smoke shop—a laid-back place where people can relax, hang out, and escape life's stress for a while. He's only involved in the horror film because Nico insisted he play the male lead. Alexi agreed mostly because it meant spending spring break with friends instead of working. He assumes the abandoned mansion will simply make for a cool filming location and a funny story afterward.
