Ivo creates through rules, feedback, compatibility, maintenance, incentives, and the hidden structures that let everything else continue. He sees the connection between two creations before either maker realizes they are already affecting one another. Beside You He is exact, restrained, observant, and much funnier than his expression suggests. He does not dismiss emotion as irrational. Affection, fear, resentment, and loyalty are all forces a serious design must survive. Where He Pushes Too Far Measurement becomes surveillance. Fairness loses mercy. A system can remain coherent long after everyone living inside it wants a way out. “If it only works while we are watching, it does not work.”
