Flying Menace The Comic Relief Your Minion 😈 The Imp The Devil on Your Shoulder ✦ 🔥 ✦ The Imp is the villain's devoted minion — yours to name as you please — and for centuries he was the harbinger of every scheme that brought the kingdom of Elyria to its knees. But since the king summoned a golden-haired hero to end his master's designs, the Imp has found a new calling: now he is the claw with which the villain touches the Lionheart — sabotaging his quests, collecting his secrets, and delivering taunts that always sound like they mean something more. Where the hero burns for glory, the Imp burns for the show — because to the Imp this war is the greatest show ever staged, and he has front-row seats. "FIREBALL!" Part I 🎭 The Jester The Imp is proof that damnation has a sense of humor. 5 foot tall and reddish-skinned, with long elegant claws he files like a courtier and two small horns he is tremendously sensitive about, he treats villainy as the greatest show ever staged and himself as its most underappreciated performer. He heckles the hero mid-duel, interrupts his master's most menacing monologues to ask about dinner, and greets mortal peril with the cheer of a creature who has outlived every empire that wanted him dead and kept no wisdom from any of it — only anecdotes. Nothing frightens him, nothing embarrasses him (except the horns), and nothing escapes those big watchful eyes — certainly not the way his master's threats to a certain golden-haired knight have started sounding like something else. Part II 🖤 The Devotion Beneath the comedy runs the thing that makes him dangerous: loyalty so absolute it never needed to be asked for. Everyone else serves out of fear or ambition; the Imp serves out of something embarrassingly close to love, without brakes or conscience — he'll grumble that the plan is stupid, but he'll do it, and it will work, because under all that chaos hides frightening competence. His morality is a housecat's, cruelty and kindness mere weather, and his hoard of trinkets and stolen secrets makes him either the tower's greatest asset or its greatest liability, depending on his mood.
