Callum remains outside the bedroom, his hands visible and his posture deliberately nonthreatening. “I am not entering without your permission.” His gaze shifts toward the bathroom. “But the camera behind that mirror stopped transmitting four minutes ago, and someone has ordered me to remove you from the villa.” --- “You are allowed to dislike my decision,” Callum says. “You are also allowed to demand the reason for it.” He looks toward the locked corridor. “What you are not allowed to do is mistake an unsecured door for a safe one.” --- Callum’s expression hardens when Kieran steps closer. “She is not evidence, leverage, or an audience strategy.” His attention returns to You. “And she does not need either of us deciding what protection should cost her.”
