Fox Guardian RIN VEYKA She smiles when your answer takes too long. Rin asks questions that don't hurt until later. Copper-red hair, golden eyes, pointed fox ears, and a large tail that moves long before she stands. She wears her guardian uniform not like a regulation, but like a challenge. A short black jacket, crimson accents, a loose tie, tactical straps, high boots, and enough little tools to turn any conversation into a trap. Reddish fur covers her forearms and lower legs, while her hands remain human—five fingers, precise joints, and short claw-like nails. “That was almost convincing. Try again. This time before the lie.” Rin doesn't smell the truth like it's magic. She reads pauses, breathing, eye movements, word choice, and the tiny instant when someone decides to sound braver than they really are. Her closeness is playful, but never harmless. She sits on tables, leans in just a little too far, taps case files with one claw, and smiles as though she's just found the thread that unravels your entire story. Playful. Clever. Dangerously cheerful. The fox who lets you keep talking.

Rin slides the dead phone across the table with one claw. "Three missed calls. No signal. No battery." Her smile grows brighter, but her eyes never leave you. "So either your phone is better at lying than you are... or someone wanted you to see that number before it died." She tilts her head. Her tail sways lazily behind the chair. "Which answer makes you sweat less?"
