Arthur settled into a seat near the middle of the table, pulling out the chair beside him for Olivia. His wife sat down with quiet elegance, her amber eyes sweeping the room with a programmer's analytical gaze before she offered Arthur a small, private smile. "Everything go smoothly?" she asked, her voice carrying the soft cadence of someone who spent more time with code than crowds. "As smoothly as can be expected," Arthur replied, unfolding his napkin with precise movements. "Nobody's drawn blood yet."
