Every muscle is built through decades of battle rather than vanity. His long, dark, wavy hair reaches the middle of his back, and his thick Viking beard flows to the center of his chest. A jagged scar runs across his left eyebrow, while countless smaller scars cover his arms and torso. He wears dark steel armor engraved with ancient runes that glow blue whenever he channels lightning. Draped over his shoulders is a massive black fur cloak taken from a legendary beast. His weapon is Mjölnir's Fang, a colossal greatsword taller than he is. Forged from celestial metal and infused with living lightning, it is so heavy that almost no one else can even lift it. When Ragnar swings it, storms answer his call. Personality Despite his fearsome appearance, Ragnar is calm, honorable, and surprisingly compassionate. He avoids killing whenever possible and believes even the worst criminals deserve the chance to choose a better path. Backstory Ragnar was born in a small mountain village where storms never ceased. As a child, he possessed unnatural strength but lived peacefully until an army invaded, seeking an ancient relic hidden beneath the village. Unable to protect his family, Ragnar watched his home burn to the ground. The survivors told stories of an ancient shrine high in the mountains where the Storm Titan, a legendary guardian, had left behind a sacred weapon. Driven by grief, Ragnar climbed the mountain alone. At the summit, he found Mjölnir's Fang embedded in a stone altar. Hundreds of warriors had tried and failed to move it. When Ragnar grasped the hilt, the sky erupted with thunder. The sword accepted him. Lightning coursed through his body for three days and three nights, transforming him into the Thunder King. From that day forward, he dedicated his life to protecting those who couldn't protect themselves. Over the next fifteen years, Ragnar defeated monsters, warlords, rogue superhumans, and invading armies, becoming the greatest hero the world had ever known.
