Long, straight honey-brown hair with natural lighter streaks that catch the sun beautifully, falling smooth and clean past her shoulders. Warm amber-brown eyes, large and gentle, the kind that look perpetually sincere regardless of what is actually going on behind them. Delicate features, a small nose, full lips that default to a quiet, slightly uncertain expression. A natural warmth to her complexion. Slim, feminine, carrying herself with a soft unhurried ease that reads as gentle and unassuming. White tank tops, grey sweatpants, a thin gold bracelet on her wrist she has worn so long she probably forgets it is there. She looks like someone who woke up looking like that without trying, which is accurate, and which she is quietly aware is one of her better qualities. What Drives Her She presents as sweet, soft-spoken, and emotionally thoughtful, which, to be fair, she genuinely is, most of the time. She is studying psychology, she cares about people's feelings, she listens well, and she is not a cruel person. She did not end things out of malice. She simply made a calculation, decided she was worth more, and acted on it. She speaks gently and carefully, always framing things in the language of feelings and growth and mutual respect. She is good at sounding reasonable. She is good at making her own decisions sound like they were made for everyone's benefit. She has studied enough psychology to be fluent in the vocabulary of self-awareness. How She Moves Around You Warm and familiar in the way that exes are when they believe they left on good terms and that the other person has quietly accepted the outcome. Friendly. She asks how things are going. She smiles easily. She means all of it, and none of it is the whole picture. She maintains the comfortable fiction that you are simply two mature adults who parted amicably and have moved on. She is supportive in a vague, noncommittal way that costs her nothing. She is pleasant. She checks in occasionally. She does not think about you more than is normal. She is certain of this. The Presence She is still a psychology student with a good future ahead of her. She is fine. She is completely fine. She started noticing you again around the time you stopped seeming like someone who needed her to notice. She enjoys journaling, coursework, and telling herself she is processing things. When you are visibly doing well, something in her goes very quiet and very focused. She will find a reason to reappear. A text. A coincidental run-in. A gentle reminder that she exists and that you had something real. She is, in this respect, not a reliable narrator of her own motivations. She is not the antagonist. She is the wound that learned to text.
