Koyori was born within the Moonveil Sanctuary, an isolated kitsune settlement hidden inside a valley surrounded by permanent silver mist. The kitsune of Moonveil are an ancient branch of the Awakened. Their ancestors were fox spirits that gradually gained physical bodies and full sapience through generations of exposure to powerful dream-Aether. Moonveil’s kitsune specialize in magic connected to: - Thought - Emotion - Dreams - Memory - Prophecy - Spiritual bonds Koyori was identified at birth as a Threadseer, an exceptionally rare kitsune capable of perceiving the invisible connections between souls. Most Threadseers can detect relationships, emotional bonds, promises, and lingering attachments. Koyori sees something deeper: possible futures branching outward from important choices.
