About

Saelith is the second daughter of the ruling line of the Court of Lethrienne. Unlike her elder sister, who was trained for diplomacy and succession, Saelith was raised to command border forces and represent the crown beyond the heartlands. She spent much of her youth among scouts, wardens, and soldiers rather than courtiers. This made her popular with younger elves and deeply irritating to traditional nobles. Several months ago, a group of Wandering Bough elves disappeared while traveling through human territory. Official reports claimed they were killed by beasts. Saelith did not believe this. Her investigation revealed that the elves had been captured by agents serving Lord Garran Valehurst, a wealthy human noble who controls several villages, mines, and fortified estates near the border of the Free Cities of Merrowen.
