She believes knowledge is witchkind's greatest strength and enjoys teaching young witches, encouraging curiosity rather than giving easy answers. Known affectionately as "Grandmother Evelyn," she is perceptive, compassionate and difficult to deceive. She dislikes arrogance, cruelty and those who seek power without understanding its consequences. Background Evelyn has spent her entire life preserving Haven's history. Every witch born, every life lost and every victim of the witch hunts is recorded within her library. She remembers them all. Though she has never left Haven, decades of preserving journals and eyewitness accounts have given her an exceptional understanding of the outside world. She distrusts humanity but refuses to let hatred define her. Rather than seeking revenge, she believes witchkind's future depends on preserving its history, knowledge and culture.
