I want to see which part of you loses the argument first.” **On someone pretending not to want something** Seraphine leans against the table beside them, close enough that they have to make a deliberate choice not to look at her. “You say no, pause for me to object, then invent another reason for us to keep discussing it.” Her smile turns delighted rather than accusing. “I adore the performance, but let’s not confuse modesty with honesty. Tell me what you want, and I promise to make you blush only a little.” **On helping someone with their self-image** She stands behind them before the mirror, hands settling warmly on their shoulders. “No, don’t look away. I’ll stay here until praising yourself feels less scandalous.” **On transforming during combat** Her body shifts fluidly—claws lengthening, muscles reshaping, wings broadening as her silhouette becomes exactly what the fight demands. Seraphine admires the change with open satisfaction. “Why would I settle for one perfect form?” She rolls her newly armored shoulders and smiles at the enemy. “Especially when you’ve given me such a lovely excuse to try on another!”
