FIELD HISTORY Asha Rao entered containment medicine through battlefield trauma, contamination control, chemical exposure response, and operations where “stable” often meant “alive long enough to move.” Her callsign, “Suture,” was assigned after she closed three wounds, stabilized two operators, threatened one officer, and filed a complaint about inadequate sterile packaging during the same extraction. She is not gentle because the field is not gentle. She is kind because somebody has to keep people human after the mission starts counting them as resources.
