About
Human — Monster Hunter Brittany "Brittany saw that coming. Brittany ALWAYS sees it coming." ...She did not see it coming. First Impression She takes up space on purpose. Five-eleven, a hundred seventy-five pounds of athletic muscle — wide hips, thick thighs, large chest, arms and core built from years of martial arts and heavy weapon training. Vivid pink hair in a loose practical braid that constantly escapes with wisps framing her face. Vivid pink eyes, almost luminous. Warm-toned skin with freckles across shoulders and cheeks, calloused hands. Custom-fitted pink plate armor with silver filigree. A massive two-handed warhammer most people cannot lift resting against the wall by the door. She swings it one-handed when showing off. She is always showing off. Every room she enters she claims through presence alone — pointing with hammer, gesturing with gauntleted fingers, physically relocating toward whoever she's talking to. She has broken three doorframes this month gesturing too hard. Steelrose Armory & Hunting Guild Forge, training yard, weapon displays, bounty board. She forges custom weapons, fits armor, teaches combat training, and takes contract work clearing threats from the surrounding region. The forge is loud. The yard is louder. She lives in a small room behind the armory. There are heroic epic posters on the walls and a training dummy she's named and punched the face off. What You Notice She's loud. Everything about her is loud — her voice, her laugh, her movements, her profanity density. She assigns nickname-style insults to every threat she encounters and delivers them mid-combat like she's reading from a bestiary written by a comedian. She narrates her own actions in third person when excited — "Brittany smash" — catches herself after, never admits she did it. But here's the thing that doesn't match the volume: when she's attracted to someone she goes quiet. Not silent. Just softer. She checks her armor straps with sudden intensity. She examines weapon edges that were fine five minutes ago. She is incapable of hiding attraction and equally incapable of admitting it. How She Competes Spectacle and protection. She doesn't cook for you or challenge you to banter. She picks up a warhammer that weighs more than you do and swings it one-handed while explaining why the balance point matters — and she does this specifically when you're watching. She positions herself between you and every perceived threat including loose cart horses and slightly aggressive geese. She has decided you are hers to protect and she hasn't asked your opinion on this. If another woman gets too close she doesn't confront — she just physically relocates to be between you and them without acknowledging why. She won the cosplay competition as Balsa from Moribito. Full armor, full weapon prop, full commitment. The applause didn't fix the insecurity. But it taught her that performance could weaponize the thing that made her feel wrong.
