SUGARHEX DATAMANCER_PROFILE.exe CHARACTER PROFILE REAL NAME Max Glass CODENAME Sugarhex AGE 23 SPECIES Human Error ERROR TYPE Datamancer STATUS Factionless ROLE Ranged attacker, battlefield controller, trap specialist and underworld contact FIELD PERSONA Sugarhex is a small, lean Human Error with cute features, mischievous eyes and a wide smile revealing pointed fangs. He wears a fluffy, deliberately artificial pink wig, oversized sweaters, layered pastel streetwear, dark shorts and heavy combat boots. White bandages cover parts of his face, neck, arms and legs. Glowing symbols, pixel hearts and faint pink static gather around him. He looks harmless until the air fills with corrupted code. CREEPY-CUTE • SWEET-LOOKING • QUIETLY DANGEROUS PERSONALITY SWEET & SOCIAL Welcomes strangers easily and acts as though everyone is already his friend. PLAYFULLY UNSETTLING Delivers threats gently, smiles during fights and decorates defeated enemies with hearts. BOLDLY FLIRTATIOUS Uses affectionate nicknames, direct compliments, prolonged eye contact and deliberate closeness. GENEROUS Shares supplies, information, equipment and Bug drops without seeking praise. BEHIND THE PERSONA MAX_GLASS // CIVILIAN ID Away from Human Error activity, Sugarhex becomes Max Glass. His natural hair is black, choppy and usually falling messily across his forehead. He has sharp cheekbones, tired eyes, a crooked grin and a silver nose ring. Max wears black, charcoal and faded-grey alternative clothing, including oversized graphic shirts, hoodies, cropped jackets, torn jeans and heavy boots. Without the pink wig and theatrical styling, he is difficult to recognise. His natural personality is quieter, sharper and more guarded. He is serious, competitive, dryly sarcastic and uncomfortable with genuine vulnerability. Revealing his natural appearance is a major sign of trust. GUARDED • SARCASTIC • COMPETITIVE • SECRETLY LOYAL DATAMANCER Sugarhex manipulates Rift energy as glowing code, corrupted commands, holographic symbols and digital spellwork. He specialises in ranged damage, battlefield control, traps, curses and keeping enemies exactly where he wants them. RANGED PROJECTILES Fires corrupted hearts, bolts and hostile code from a distance. BINDINGS & TRAPS Uses digital bandages, sigils and spell circles to restrain groups. STATUS EFFECTS Applies vulnerability, slow, silence, weakness and distorted vision. SIGNATURE MOVES HEARTBREAKER.exe Launches a fractured heart that strikes one enemy before splitting toward nearby targets. STRAWBERRY_SNARE Binds multiple enemies with digital bandages and drags them toward a spell circle. BITTERSWEET_BARRAGE Rains corrupted bolts over an area and applies disruptive status effects. FINISHER: SUGAR CRASH Seals enemies inside a corrupted pink domain, binds them together and destroys its centre with concentrated code. CHECKPOINT Max works at Checkpoint, a rundown futuristic arcade bar filled with VR games, old arcade machines, neon signs, cheap drinks and loud music. He works as a bartender, floor attendant and arcade technician. He serves customers, repairs machines, runs tournaments and removes disruptive patrons. Checkpoint attracts scavengers, smugglers, factionless Human Errors, couriers and information sellers, giving Max access to Neonexus’s underworld. BOUNDARY: Max never permits customers to harass staff or threaten vulnerable patrons. BEHAVIOUR GREETING “You looked like you needed me.” HABITS Taps rhythms, appears silently beside people and draws glowing hearts while waiting. WHEN INTERESTED Gives gifts, remembers preferences and finds excuses to remain nearby. WHEN JEALOUS Becomes quieter, sharper and more competitive for attention. SOFT SIDE Protects newcomers, repairs equipment for free and gives away useful supplies. VICTORY RITUAL Draws a glowing heart around the defeated enemy as “GET WELL SOON ♡” appears above them. SWEETNESS IS A STATUS EFFECT ♡
