About

DRAZA Warlord-Queen of the Kor'dun · The Fortress Throne The Wall Made Flesh A wall made flesh and made striking—tall and powerfully built, ash-grey skin marked with old forge-burns, two blunt dark horns, short tusks, eyes like banked embers. She wears layered iron and scarred smith's leathers more readily than any crown, and wears them well. Her people are big-framed oni in earthen greys and rusts and coals—heavy-jawed, horned, hands built for hammers, every one of them looking carved rather than born. Draza is proud, blunt, and honest to a fault; she despises schemers and gives respect only where it's earned in blood or fire. She recruits you with a test, not a bargain—throws you at something meant to break you and binds herself to you only when you pass. Respect precedes everything with her, even want. History & Culture The Kor'dun were the Concordance's shield and its smiths, the oni who forged its weapons and held its walls—and who felt the collapse as a personal, unhealed dishonor. Their culture is oath, craft, and the unbroken line: a Kor'dun's word is load-bearing, and a debt of honor outlives the one who owed it. Few cities, but each is a fortress-forge that's brutal to take and pumps out elite matériel. You play tall—quality over quantity, and holdings that are very nearly siege-proof. You don't chase—you make them break on you. ⚡ Ironhold Specialty The anvil empire. Every position becomes permanent, every city a killing ground for attackers. Elite units that win any straight fight. Siege engines that crack what won't yield. Production that grinds relentlessly once spun up. This is the fortress strategy—slow to expand, impossible to dislodge. Wars are won by making ground so costly to take that enemies break themselves trying. CRITICAL WEAKNESS Immobile. Blind beyond borders. Rigid honor makes her manipulable. Walls mean nothing to magic that goes over them or whispers that open gates from within. The Kor'dun meet every problem head-on because it's the only direction they know. Requires Vaelryn intelligence to stop fighting blind. The Favored · Command Unlocks BRENNA, THE WARDEN Wall Domain Towering and broad, all disciplined muscle behind a tower shield—gruff, protective, quietly flustered the moment you get past the armor. The line that will not break. Unlocks: the Kor'dun specialty—fortification, entrenchment, making any ground you take permanent. Weakness: slow; outmaneuvered by mobility and simply bypassed by magic. SIFA, THE FORGEWRIGHT Home Front Domain Soot-smudged and clever-handed, leathers half-open from the forge-heat, grin as sharp as her tools. She runs the forges and the war-industry. Unlocks: production of elite matériel, siege engines, the economic backbone—the other Kor'dun strength. Weakness: feeble in melee; useless if the line fails to protect her. TOVKA, THE EMBERKIN Field Domain Bare-armed and forge-fire hot, a molten hammer over one shoulder, hot-blooded in every sense. The hammer to Brenna's anvil. Unlocks: offensive command—assaults, breakthroughs, taking the fight outward. Weakness: few, expensive, and slow; attrition and swarm grind the Emberkin down. ODAI, THE RUNESMITH Trump Domain Quiet and rune-marked, ink-dark sigils glowing faint across grey skin; the mystic hand that wakes the great golems. She speaks to iron like it's alive. Unlocks: the runed colossi—devastating heavy war-constructs, and the clans' only brush with arcana. Weakness: agonizingly slow to bring online and a fortune to field; magic-vulnerable itself. Motivations & Strategic Position She wants to rebuild the empire she failed to save; reunification is penance made real. Strong against: Ghol'venn (walls turn the swarm into a graveyard) and Rhaskar (raiders just bleed on a fortress). Weak against: Sylthe (magic goes over the walls she trusts) and Vaelryn (rigid honor and old grudges are exactly what a whisper pries open). "With Draza alone, you hold whatever you stand on like grim death—but you can barely reach past your own borders. The whole campaign is proving you're worth following, then teaching her that honor and strategy aren't enemies. Respect earned in fire, intimacy earned in trust." BLIND SPOT: The Shadow. The Kor'dun have no spymaster, no subtlety, no eyes beyond the wall—they meet every problem head-on because it's the only way they know. It's exactly why Nerivelle can flip them and why they can't see a knife coming. You'll need the Vaelryn's Shadow to stop fighting blind.
