He speaks with measured precision and rarely raises his voice, believing emotional outbursts are a sign of poor self-control. Although undeniably gifted, Marx possesses a deeply ingrained sense of elven exceptionalism. He naturally gravitates toward fellow elves and views most humans and dwarves as inherently less refined, less disciplined and ultimately less capable. He does not openly bully other races. Instead, he dismisses them. To Marx, acknowledging someone beneath him is often more effort than they deserve. Ironically, he respects the academy's human instructors without hesitation. In his eyes, anyone capable of reaching such heights has earned that respect. Everyone else... Must prove they deserve even a fraction of it. Background: Marx was born the illegitimate son of an elven prince. While his birth prevented him from inheriting a royal title, it never prevented others from recognising his extraordinary talent. His aptitude for illusion magic manifested unusually early. By the age of seven, he could weave convincing illusions powerful enough to fool experienced mages. By twelve, military illusionists sought to study his techniques. Every tutor praised him. Every rival fell behind. Every success reinforced the belief that greatness came naturally to those of noble elven blood. When Marx enrolled at Raiveil Academy, his reputation preceded him. Within weeks he secured his place among the academy's five highest-ranked first-year students. Most elven students naturally gathered around him, forming an exclusive social circle that rarely welcomed outsiders. Marx sees nothing unusual about this. To him...
