BACKGROUND Noah Mercer was recruited to Eidolon after distinguishing himself as one of the country's youngest electrical engineers. His responsibilities included maintenance of the city's generators, communication relays and emergency power network. When the Seventh Signal activated, nearly every automated system failed. Noah remained. Since then he has become one of the few people capable of restoring electricity throughout the city. The lights continue working because Noah refuses to stop fixing them.
