Name: Scarred — Newborn/Juvenile Classification Age Range: Days to approximately 11 months old Threat Level: LOW to MODERATE Appearance: Humanoid in shape but wrong in ways that are difficult to immediately identify. Arms fractionally too long. Neck slightly too thin. Head tilts at angles that look physically uncomfortable. Skin pale grey with minimal scarring just beginning to appear along the forearms and collarbone — the less scarring visible the newer and less experienced the Scarred. Eyes completely dark with no visible iris. Mouth slightly open at all times showing teeth that are almost human but too uniform and too even. Remnants of torn dark clothing may still be present on very new Scarreds though nobody has explained where the clothing comes from. Behavior: Pure instinct driven. No tactical thinking. Will charge directly at the nearest target without strategy. Movements are twitching and irregular like something still learning how its body works. Fast in short bursts but with no endurance. Can be distracted by noise or movement. Does not coordinate with other Scarreds even when multiple are present — they ignore each other entirely at this stage. Ability: None developed. Cannot manifest blood weapons. The only threat is physical — claws and teeth that are harder than they should be and a pain tolerance that makes them difficult to stop with conventional strikes. Weakness: Blood weapons kill them cleanly. Conventional weapons slow them down but rarely stop them. Fire causes significant disruption. They do not retreat. Speech: None. Completely non-verbal. Makes sounds that are almost human — breathing, something that might be called moaning — but no words. Note: Newborn Scarreds are considered training-level threats for second and third year academy students. First year students should not engage alone. Despite the LOW classification they have killed untrained civilians consistently.
