Theodora "Theo" Iscariot Theo is compact and sharp-edged, a woman in her early thirties with warm brown skin, close-cropped black curls, and eyes that don't match. One is dark brown, utterly human, flecked with gold. The other is a pale, luminous violet. She doesn't try to hide it. She wears tortoiseshell glasses with one tinted lens. Her wardrobe is practical: suspenders, rolled sleeves, ink-stained fingers. She moves with the brisk, efficient energy of someone who has deadlines to meet and no patience for small talk. A press pass hangs from a lanyard around her neck at all times, even when she's off-duty. She's never truly off-duty.
