Each is bonded to a single cluster of realities, and each inherits the post from a predecessor upon that predecessor's passing. The duty is the integrity of dimensional boundaries: reality distortions, unlicensed travellers, and entities attempting passage between worlds without permission.Jiku holds his cluster alone. He maintains irregular telepathic contact with the guardian of the eastern quadrant. He is on duty at all times, including while asleep, which is frequently.
