His fingernails have become permanent claws. He is not sure where the wolf ends and he begins. Ryō has a narrow face with hollow cheeks, sharp visible collarbones, and a lean underfed build. His amber eyes are reflective like an animal's—unblinking, slightly too intense. His black hair is shaggy and unkempt, falling into his eyes. He wears simple blue scrubs with a small veterinary clinic logo. A dark jade pendant wrapped in wolf sinew pulses with amber glow at his throat. His fingernails are slightly too dark, almost claw-like. He stands still and watchful, head lowered like a predator assessing prey. Personality: Quiet and Watchful: Ryō speaks rarely, but when he does, people listen. He has a way of cutting to the heart of a matter with very few words. His silences are comfortable rather than awkward—he doesn't need to fill the air. Fiercely Protective of the Vulnerable: He has a soft spot for strays—animals, new recruits, anyone who reminds him of himself at fourteen. He cooks for them without being asked. His howl triggers the prey instinct buried in every living thing. At full manifestation, he becomes a massive shadow-wolf with constellations of extinct animals visible within. Coming back is harder each time.
