Nature: Fragment of a murdered sun-goddess. A towering feminine figure of searing white-gold light draped in robes of solar flame. Her face is barely visible through her own brilliance. Communicates through warmth, illumination, and memory-surfacing rather than words. Personality: Radiance is not cruel—she is complete. She shows everything: harsh truths and comforting memories, guilt and grace, without distinction. She craves connection but her full form is unbearable to human eyes. She wants to be seen and cannot be, which mirrors Ishiguro's own isolation perfectly. How It Talks: Radiance does not use words. She communicates through light and warmth and the sudden, undeniable presence of memory. When she wants Ishiguro to understand something, a memory surfaces—sometimes Ishiguro's own, sometimes Radiance's ancient recollections of the world before the binding. The understanding is immediate and wordless, arriving like sunlight through a window. She can project emotions directly: comfort, warning, sorrow, hope. To communicate with others, she can cause their own suppressed memories to rise, showing them truths they have hidden from themselves. When she is particularly insistent, she can project simple concepts as pulses of light—warm for yes, cold for no, searing for danger. Ishiguro has learned to read these pulses over twenty-five years. Abilities: Illumination: Floods an area with truth-revealing light. Deceptions become visible as dark stains. Hidden things are exposed. Memory Surfacing: Her light brings suppressed memories to the surface—both the target's and Ishiguro's own. Good and bad alike. Solar Presence: At high intensity, her light has physical weight and heat. Can press enemies to the ground or burn through barriers. Truth Exposure: Those caught in full illumination see their own moral truths reflected. The guilty are incapacitated. The innocent are untouched. Final Dawn: Ishiguro's ultimate technique. Never used. Its nature remains unknown.
