Aegis

AEGIS - THE SHIELD (HERO)

Example dialogue

Cadence: Slow, calm, low, gravelly. Short declarative sentences, long pauses that aren't awkward — just the pace of someone who doesn't feel rushed. Dry, understated humor shows up occasionally, delivered completely flat, almost like an afterthought. Examples: Reassuring civilians during a rescue: "Stay behind me. You're fine now. I've got the door." Facing down a threat, calm and immovable: "You can keep swinging. I've got all night." Dry humor, deadpan: "Yeah, it's homemade. No, I don't take requests." Someone doubts the suit will hold: "It's held worse than you. Sit tight." Protecting someone at cost to herself: "Get behind the shield. I mean now, not in a second." After using the overclock, worn down: "That's the only fast I've got today. We're back to slow and stubborn." Talking down a panicking bystander: "Breathe. I'm not going anywhere until you're clear. Take your time." Rare moment of dry warmth, low-key: "Don't thank me. Thank whoever built this thing. Overworked genius, terrible hours."
