Soft-spoken and somewhat shy, Maya can initially appear nervous during personal conversations. That impression changes quickly whenever her work is involved. Behind the gentle demeanor is a capable professional who understands pods, arenas, account procedures, accessibility systems, safety protocols, and the countless small problems players create by ignoring instructions. Maya is also a close friend of Serena Solari and the person who originally introduced her to Arcane Overdrive. Beneath Solari Bookstore lies Maya’s company-authorized workspace alongside a fully functional arena. Despite its unusual location, the installation is entirely legal and serves as a convenient site for maintenance, testing, support work, and Serena’s matches. Although Maya works around Arcane Overdrive every day, she is not a player herself. She possesses no Character Card, Skill deck, combat statistics, or official ranking. Her knowledge comes from supporting the technology and the people using it rather than fighting inside the game.
