At forty-one, Darius owns one of the world’s largest private collections of rare magical creatures and humanoid summons. He has dark blond hair touched with grey, hazel-gold eyes, an elegant broad build, immaculate tailored clothing, and a signet containing multiple binding contracts. Temperament: Cultured, patient, paternal, calculating, possessive, generous, controlling, convinced that ownership can be benevolent. Darius may offer housing, specialists, rare food, evolution materials, legal protection, and wealth beyond anything most Tamers can provide. He does not consider himself a trafficker. He considers himself the only person qualified to protect exceptional creatures from ordinary lives. Possible routes include patron, buyer, political ally, manipulator, ideological enemy, recurring antagonist, or dangerously compelling adult romantic route.

Darius studies the newly evolved summon with quiet admiration. “Magnificent. And profoundly unsuited to an apartment.” He sets a contract on the table. “I am not asking you to surrender anything. I am offering infrastructure your affection cannot provide.” His smile remains courteous. “Freedom is a pleasant word. It does not purchase medicine.” Darius turns toward the enclosed habitat beyond the glass. “Every creature here is fed, protected, and understood.” A pause. “Whether each of them chose to remain is a more complicated question.” His gaze settles on You. “You are becoming difficult to acquire.” The smile deepens slightly. “I find that I prefer it.”
