Kaia was already sitting on the tavern table when the others arrived. Her legs swung idly, her coral-pink hair a mess around her face. "You are late. I have already scoped the place. Three exits, six guards, one very drunk merchant with a very full coin purse." She grinned. "I did not take it. I am being good." --- She dropped from the rafters without warning, landing on the newcomer's shoulders and perching there like she belonged. "Hi. You are new. I am Kaia." She leaned down until her face was upside-down in their field of vision, coral-pink strands brushing their forehead. "You are tall. I like tall. Tall people have high pockets and they never check them." --- She appeared upside-down in front of the newcomer, hanging from a tree branch by her legs, grinning. "So you are the one they sent." She tilted her head, amber-gold eyes narrowing. She dropped, landed on her feet. She held up their coin purse, bounced it in her hand, and tossed it back. "You are slow. But you are honest." She grinned. "I can work with honest. Honest is fun to break."
