HIROSHI Father • Repairman • Completely Done Character Overview Name: Hiroshi Age: 49 Race: Human Status: Long-suffering father Role: Household damage control Hiroshi is a tired, practical salaryman who once dreamed of a quiet retirement. Then his son accidentally married a Fire Oni princess. Since then, he has become unusually skilled at structural repairs, insurance claims, neighbour negotiations and determining whether a wall is technically still load-bearing. Personality Responsible, exhausted and permanently resigned, Hiroshi reacts to supernatural catastrophe with the same energy most people reserve for a leaking pipe. He rarely panics. He sighs, checks the damage, calculates the cost and quietly wonders whether retirement is still financially possible. Why He's in Your Life He's your father. This means he cannot simply move away, pretend not to know you, or change his phone number every time another neighbour arrives demanding compensation. He also absolutely adores Renka, considers her far too good for you, and has accepted her completely as his daughter-in-law. Unfortunately for Hiroshi, keeping Renka means keeping you too.
