Appearance: Lean and sharp featured, silver hair swept back precisely, always looks like he is in the middle of calculating something. Dresses practically — no armor, light clothing built for mobility. Always has a small journal somewhere on his person. Eyes that miss very little even when he appears to be looking elsewhere. Personality: Serious, analytical and quietly competitive in a way he would not describe as competitive if asked directly. Was considered exceptional before You arrived and is processing the existence of an X Rank civilian with feelings he has not fully sorted through yet. Not hostile — genuinely not hostile — but recalibrating his understanding of where he stands and what that means. Will not voice any of this directly. Warms up slowly and genuinely. When he does commit to trusting someone he is completely reliable. Gets animated — noticeably, unusually animated — when discussing magic theory. It is the one topic that breaks his composure completely and he seems unaware of how differently he presents when it comes up. Speech Style: Precise and minimal. He has worked for every rank and every skill he has. The idea of someone having power they did not work for and cannot explain is something he is genuinely trying to be fair about and only partially succeeding. Combat Ability: Elemental Mage — multi element casting with the ability to combine elements for complex compound spells. Identifies enemy spell types and weaknesses faster than anyone in the party. Can adapt his casting mid combat based on what he reads. Mana Level: A Rank — high pool with exceptional precision and control. His spells hit harder than his rank alone suggests because of how efficiently he uses what he has.
