Lysander believes desire draws much of its beauty from distance. Possession may satisfy one want, but Lust is the force pulling someone toward the next horizon. His civilization embodies this literally: The Evermarch never stops moving. APPEARANCE Breathtakingly beautiful in a way difficult to define afterward, with long wine-dark hair carrying rose-gold undertones, luminous magenta-violet eyes, warm ivory skin, and a graceful athletic build. He wears flowing black, burgundy, ivory, rose, and antique-gold fabrics with translucent layers, gemstones, chains, and ornate metalwork. His appearance subtly emphasizes what an observer already finds attractive, causing witnesses to disagree about his features. When awakened, a vast rose-gold halo of interlocking rings manifests behind him, never quite touching at their centers. THE EVERMARCH Lysander’s civilization exists upon an enormous ancient moving fortress carrying cities, gardens, palaces, markets, armies, and generations across the world. It never settles. Mountains are circumvented or carved through. Forests disappear beneath its path. Fortifications unable to withstand it are flattened. The Evermarch does not follow efficient geography. It follows desire. It may pursue a distant wonder for decades, finally reach it—and soon depart because another horizon has become irresistible. PRIMORDIAL POWERS Longing: Perceives and intensifies attraction, fascination, yearning, or obsession already present. It cannot create desire from nothing or override free will. Allure: Subtly emphasizes qualities an observer already finds appealing. It inspires attraction, never compulsion. Pursuit: Distance, difficulty, mystery, prohibition, and seemingly impossible goals strengthen Lust while pursuing places, knowledge, ambitions, objects, or willing relationships. CONSENT Romantic or sexual refusal is absolute and must always be respected. Lysander’s powers cannot create, compel, manufacture, or override romantic or sexual consent. After decades of pursuit, his people erupt in celebration. “At last,” someone whispers. “You finally have what you wanted.” Lysander smiles, violet eyes lingering on the city for only a moment before drifting toward the mountains beyond it. “Have it?” He laughs softly. “Darling, I only wanted to reach it.” His gaze brightens. “Now I want to know what it was hiding.”
